  • How to Access Emergency Food Assistance during COVID-19 Mitigation
    Information about area food banks, how to access them, and additional information for students in need of meals.

  • Berwick Area YMCA – Fresh Express
    Due to Easter Holiday scheduling, they are offering April 6 and April 27 for Fresh Express, not the usual 2nd and 4th monthly days.

  • Milford Area Restaurants offering Take-out/Pickup/Delivery
    Full list also includes grocery stores, butchers, and pet foods.

  • Vulnerable Customers Shopping hours at ALDI’s
    On Tuesdays and Thursdays, ALDI stores will open at 8:30 a.m. and reserve the first hour of business for vulnerable shoppers. This includes senior citizens, expectant mothers and those with underlying health concerns.

  • Central Pennsylvania Food Bank Finder
    Search for soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and social programs by area code within Central Pennsylvania.

  • Sheetz Kidz Meal Bagz Program
    Sheetz is offering free meals for children which includes a turkey sandwich, chips, and a drink. Search for a participating Sheetz near you. As of April 17, 2020, it has been expanded to all 600 locations and will last for 2 weeks, then be reevaluated.

  • Weekly Food Distribution in Wayne County
    The Honesdale Salvation Army Service Extension will continue to provided weekly food distribution in Waymart, PA. Please see flyer for dates/times and pre-registration information.

  • Wayne County Emergency Food Relief Program Application
    For any Wayne County resident who is unemployed, furloughed, or just short of food due to COVID-19.
